Commander Minna notices that Sakamoto is losing her powers and tries to force her not to fly anymore, but Sakamoto refuses. Chris Barkhorn awakens from her coma. Gertrud and Erica race to see her, but are left a mysterious letter threatening Minna. Perrine challenges Yoshika to a duel over Sakamoto, when the Neuroi attack. The Neuroi takes the form of a witch and seemingly tries to communicate peacefully with Yoshika.

- Artistic License – Gun Safety: Perrine insists on using real weapons for their duel instead of training weapons, saying that they will keep their safeties on. Yoshika points out how stupid this is.
- Cliffhanger: The episode ends with Sakamoto getting shot by the Neuroi.
- Convenient Coma: Chris seems perfectly fine for someone who just woke up from a years long coma.
- Didn't Think This Through: Minna is worried that Sakamoto will be KIA, so tries to force her to stand down by threatening to shoot her. Sakamoto points out this logical flaw in her plan and simply walks out.
- Eating the Eye Candy: Yoshika can't help herself staring at Lynette's breasts while in the shower.Yoshika: I think you're amazing too, Lynette.Lynette: What? In what way?Yoshika: Well...
- Leeroy Jenkins: Minna orders Perrine and Yoshika to stay put until backup arrives when the Neuroi appears. Yoshika immediately ignores this and charges ahead anyways.
- Not With the Safety On, You Won't: Yoshika has a clean shot at the Neuroi and fires, but forgot she had the safety on.
- Throwing Down the Gauntlet: Perrine to Yoshika.
- Wham Shot: Sanya is sleeping in bed. Then her Radar Power activates signalling the nearby presence of a Neuroi.
