Inspired by TRACE-E, Spin wants his own spider bot, which he quickly builds in Spidey's absence. The new spider bot quickly glitches and have issues obeying orders, running wild and into the city. Spidey and Spin have to find the spider bot soon, and before Doc Ock does something bad to it.
Tropes:
- Beware the Silly Ones: TWIST-E is a cute and friendly robot, but during his glitching state, he is unable to control himself and ends up causing a lot of destruction, and destroyed half of Doc Ock's lair when she took him there in an attempt to reprogram him.
- "Could Have Avoided This!" Plot: Miles/Spin could have prevented majority of this episode's events had he waited for Peter/Spidey to get back to help him build TWIST-E.
- Also, Doc Ock could have prevented her lair from being left in ruins if she never brought TWIST-E to said lair.
- Hoist by His Own Petard: Doc Ock's plan to take TWIST-E into her lair to reprogram him to be her minion causes her lair to be left in ruins as TWIST-E manages to run loose during his time there and destroy everything he bangs into.
- Wham Episode: As of this episode, Miles/Spin has his own Spider-bot, TWIST-E.
