A week after his outburst, Andreas convinces the Manager to let him out of the shed. But was that the right decision?

This episode contains examples of:

  • Asshole Victim: In the end, Andreas is turned into a boat as punishment, and given that he was an obnoxious Jerkass who spent all his time on the Mid-Sodor Railway bullying the other engines, no-one feels sorry for him.
  • Even Mooks Have Loved Ones: The trucks have great respect for Atlas and had enough of Andreas insulting him time and time again that this led them to push him off the rails.
  • Green-Eyed Monster: Andreas feels jealous of Stuart and Falcon pulling the express instead of him.
  • Sequel Hook: None of the following episodes have mentioned what happened to Andreas after he left the Mid-Sodor Railway. All we know is that he was turned into a boat.
  • "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Falcon tells off Andreas for deliberately leaving the passenger behind, even calling him an incompetent liar and a disgrace to the railway for this.
  • Rejected Apology: Andreas pleads the manager to give him another chance, but the manager declines and tells him to stay in the sheds until he figures out what to do with him. He decides to turn him into a boat at Arlesburgh.
  • Whole Episode Flashback: Continuing from the previous episode, this also talks of Andreas' story on Sodor years ago.
