Not really "falling" and more like "getting sucked into a giant ball that’s about to blow".

A failed mission leads to Spyro asking Pop Fizz if he could make an invention that can make it easier for the Skylanders to stop evil. Pop Fizz does just that after getting his hands on a magical lens made by Kaos. The evil-scope as the team ends up calling it, can see future crimes before they are even being cooked up by the villains. Spyro is thrilled by this, and uses it to stop evil non-stop. One day a giant ball of darkness shows up in the sky with no explanation. Spyro heads out to do something about it, but gets trapped in it instead.
This episode provides examples of:
- Comically Missing the Point: While Eon plans to go down with the academy he founded, Hugo says that some people (like him) would rather want to survive, but Eon reads this as Hugo being honored of them dying alongside each other.
- Felony Misdemeanor: The evil crime Chef Pepper Jack was about to commit that was shown through the Evil-Scope was putting hot sauce on a waffle. The Skylanders still take this full-on seriously.
- Never My Fault: Spyro blames the team’s failure on protecting Eon's beard statue on them being unable to see evil coming instead of the fact that they were all focused on one enemy group (who were off-screen) so nobody was looking at the statue and seeing Bomb Shell planning to blow it up.
