  • The Casanova: Jake immediately starts flirting with Patrick, then invites the couple for a whiskey... or whatever.
    Jake: That's a really great sweater. Really brings out your lips.
  • Ethical Slut: Jake is everyone's ex and nobody's ex, but he seems very open and honest.
  • Foreshadowing: Alexis's video date with Ted keeps getting interrupted by the demands of her burgeoning career.
  • Long-Distance Relationship: There's some Foreshadowing that Ted and Alexis are moving in different directions.
  • Nice Guy: Jake may be The Narcissist, but he's never anything but polite and even kind. He just wants everyone to have a very good time.
    • Ted steps up and recognizes Alexis has a burgeoning career and it wouldn't be fair to ask her to come to the Galapagos just as she's taking off.
  • The Narcissist: Nobody is as attracted to Jake as Jake is.
  • A Party, Also Known as an Orgy: When you think about it, it makes sense that at gathering at Jake's would turn into a orgy.
  • Squick: In-Universe, Ronnie has a look of shock and disgust when Bob says "I don't mind a dirty room.".
