- Accidental Murder: The SCP Foundation accidentally pours black water instead of green water into Johnny Cuba's tanks, killing him.
- Exact Words: Johnny Cuba's answer to the interrogation questions, "magic," while cheeky, is actually an accurate description of his powers.
- Even Evil Has Standards: When Johnny Cuba sees Agent Lang, mistaking him for Peter, he lays into him for Peter's war crime, being pretty disgusted by it.
- Killed Off for Real: Agent Lang dies trying to set a trap for Cuba. Cuba seems to suffer this as well.
