Yeager reads in the newspaper that her motorcycle land speed record has been broken and becomes determined to get it back. After tuning her old motorcyle "Rapid," she beats the record, but unsatisfied seeks to break the 200 MPH barrier as well. Meanwhile, a Neuroi attacks and bombs the base causing minor damage. The Strike Witches receive supplies to repair the base, including a new P-51H Striker Unit upgrade for Yeager, replacing her old P-51D. Lucchini, attempting to help Yeager's speed record attempts, modifies her bike by adding side propellers to it. A furious Yeager blows up at Lucchini, but soon calms down and they both makeup after Barkhorn explains to Lucchini what she did wrong. When the Neuroi attacks again, Lucchini equips the P-51H to try and defeat it so Yeager can complete her run. However, she isn't able to use it properly and falls with Yeager riding out to rescue her on Rapid which is destroyed in the process. Yeager reminds Lucchini that her friendship is more important than anything, and then takes the P-51H and destroys the Neuroi. Underwater in the wreckage of Rapid, the speedometer reads 200.1 MPH.

  • And This Is for...: Shirley yells "This one's for Lucchini!" as her Pre-Mortem One-Liner seconds before killing the Neuroi for good.
  • Beyond the Impossible: Shirley is unaware that she finally broke the sound barrier during her Big Damn Heroes moment.
  • Call-Back: Shortly before Lucchini surprises Shirley, the latter references the Strike Witches 2 episode "It's All Creepy-Crawly" by telling the former that it better not be an insect.
  • Mid-Season Upgrade: Shirley's new P-51H Striker Unit.
  • Oh, Crap!: Shirley when she realizes that Lucchini's modified her bike without her knowledge.
