Pops gives Mordecai and Rigby Tants (pants that can also fold out into a table), but Mordecai and Rigby don't like them and end up breaking them.
Tropes:
- Despite the Plan: Their plan to replace their tants by making new ones fails with the company CEO coming to destroy the counterfeit. After the duo apologizes to everyone that they did this because they didn't want Pops to know, Pops comes in and expresses how moved he was by what they went through. The CEO gives them free replacements.
- Mattress-Tag Gag: Justified - Removing the tag is specifically stated to be against the company's own law and not federal law. Of course, it just means the company goes after Mordecai and Rigby instead of the government.
- My God, What Have I Done?: The duo realizing how much Pops paid for the Tants making them feel really low.
- Portmanteau: Tants = table + pants.
- Unwanted Gift Plot: The Tants. Mordecai and Rigby are really put off by them. They don't want Pops to know though.
