Ben leaps into a firefighter, Otis Burton, who has to rescue a boy - but he turns out to be Jeffrey, the son of Hannah, the woman Ben has encountered in several previous leaps, and when she gets trapped as well, he has to choose who to save. Meanwhile the rest of the team are dealing with the fallout of Magic's resignation in the previous episode.

- Take a Third Option: Told he only has time to save either Jeffrey or Hannah, Ben saves Jeffrey first, but then goes back to Hannah - who he manages to save as well.
- You Are in Command Now: Jenn is placed in temporary charge as Magic leaves the team.
