Kate looks through the Pocketpedia to find out which of the pets shown in its pages would be ideal for Martina. Once she gave out some information about Martina to the Royal Guards, this activates the Pocketpedia, to where it turns to a page showing an illustration of sheepdogs. Kate and her friends split up for this quest: the Royal Guards stay around the castle grounds to search for a Magic Drop while Kate and Magic head out to search for a sheepdog. Without their knowledge, Eva and her lackeys have set up a net trap in the forest after finding a sheepdog in the nearby farm— named Toby.
The Royal Guards sniff around the grounds of the castle but so far have not found any Magic Drop. Balloon eventually leads them to an underground tunnel where she would sometimes wander around and look in there. Once again, the Royal Guards split up, with Balloon and Mela searching in the tunnel and William and Danny with other business. Kate and Magic find a farm with many sheep grazing in the distance and head even deeper into the woods, until they are caught in the trap and encounter Eva and her gang again. Toby comes to their rescue, though at first he is outnumbered by Eva, Zull, and Gort. That was until William and Danny arrive as well, successfully driving Eva and her gang out and freeing Kate and Magic. After agreeing to Kate’s question about becoming the new friend of Martina, Toby fetches a twig to remind him of Pocketville, just like how Martina took an olive branch with her to remind her of Tuscany. The group then meet Balloon and Mela, who successfully found a Magic Drop in the tunnel.
Toby is teleported to the Big City via the Friendship Ceremony, and he appears next to Martina. The girl is immediately happy upon seeing him, which catches the attention of her mother Mary, who remarks that she hasn’t seen her smile like that in a long time. Back in Pocketville, the Magic Fountain dries up, and shows a fragment of what seems to be an image of Princess Ava. Kate concludes that if they complete the mosaic, then they could bring Ava back to Pocketville. At the same time, the Friendship Ceremony is just as important, according to William. Meanwhile, Eva retains her determination to take the other half of the Friendship Heart, knowing that Kate will come back again soon.
Back in the Big City, Kate and Magic get ready for bed, happy to be home once again.
