"Whatever you think happened last night did not happen, because NOTHING HAPPENED, you got it?"
Directed by Andy Berman
Written by Andy Berman

After a night at a bar, Shawn, Gus, Lassiter, and Woody wake up one morning in the Psych office, not knowing what happened to them the previous night, but there are several clues: Gus' car has been dented, Shawn is wearing things that aren't his, Woody has a white powder on his chin, Lassiter has a black eye and his gun is missing three bullets, and Henry wakes up in a trashed hotel room, without his pants. Shawn's attempts to piece it all together reveal that he had a conversation with Juliet that could change their relationship.

This episode contains examples of:

  • Alone with the Psycho: Upon realizing that the girl coming onto Gus was in league with Jenkins, Shawn and the others realize Gus is in danger.
  • Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: The gold chain Shawn is wearing. He stole it from rapper Ed Lover. It has no connection to the overall case, and just results in Lover showing up in the Chief's office, demanding it back ("Come on, son!") and leaving.
  • Call-Back: Given the nature of the plot, the episode takes the normal Psych structure over the top in calling back to details noted earlier.
  • Cloud Cuckoolander: Woody licked all the sugar off from the donuts. The donut shop owner calls him out that he acted like a weird sicko.
  • Didn't Think This Through: Leroy Jenkins and his adopted daughter were unable to properly interrogate Gus for the location of the P.I's phone due to them drugging him a second time.
  • Forgettable Character: The tech guy.
  • He Knows Too Much: Jenkins killed William and the P.I because they saw the photos that could identify him.
  • Holding the Floor: Gus accidentally does this after being drugged by Lily. Leroy intends to kill him after he reveals the location of the incriminating evidence. The only problem is that drugged Gus is too clueless to actually register what is happening and throws Leroy's words back at him. This allows Gus to hold the duo off till the rest of the gang show up.
  • Honey Trap: Leroy Jenkins' adopted daughter seduced Gus in order to lure him to be killed by her father.
  • I'll Kill You!: Lassiter shouts this after discovering that the gay couple stole his car.
  • Improvised Weapon: Gus ultimately defeats Leroy by bashing him in the head with a bowl of taffy. Keep in mind that Gus is high out of his skull at the time.
  • Laser-Guided Karma: Gus is the one to knock Jenkins down after he drugged him once more to get the phone.
  • Leeroy Jenkins: There's a fugitive whose name is Leeroy Jenkins. He's appropriately hot-tempered.
  • MacGuffin: The PI's phone contains photos of Jenkins who wants it back before he gets exposed.
  • Manly Gay: The couple running the bar.
  • No Name Given: We never learn the P.I.'s real name.
  • Pants-Free: Henry is this for much of his screen time.
  • Red Herring: When the donut shop owner claims "the angry guy" stole his hat, the audience, Shawn, Gus, and Woody all naturally think that he's referring to Lassiter. However, it later turns out he was actually referring to Henry.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Having had enough of his amnesia episode, Gus declares to everyone that he's going home and meet up with the hot girl he met. It doesn't end well for him.
  • Shout-Out:
    • When the gang (Shawn, Gus, Lassiter, and Woody) all walk back into the bar to discover who they were drugged by, the scene depicts them all in slow-motion with the song "Little Green Bag" playing in an allusion to Reservoir Dogs.
    • The suspect is literally named "Leroy Jenkins".
  • Tempting Fate: When the donut workers claimed that Lassiter knocked down their shop statue, Lassiter countered that as the head detective for the SBPD, they'd need strong evidence to accuse him of such vandalism. They show him the parking lot's security footage.
  • Wham Line:
    • Lassiter realizes that three bullets had been fired from his gun. Look at the case below.
    • Juliet reveals that an amnesiac Shawn wanted the two of them to move in together. However, she declines as she isn't ready.
  • What Did I Do Last Night?: The premise of the episode.
  • What Happened to the Mouse?: William's wife is never mentioned again after everyone searches for Jenkins. However since it's mentioned she never checked out, it doesn't bode well.
  • Whole-Plot Reference: To The Hangover.
  • You Killed My Father: A downplayed variant. Lassiter shot at Bobo, the donut statue and the worker got angry because of a special attachment he had with it.
