An attempt to infiltrate a foreign government by the Armada results in Noah and Jake swapping bodies. The former uses this opportunity to work on a new weapon.

Tropes

  • Adapted Out: From Gokaiger episode 27, a Flashman change is omitted, despite Flashman being introduced among the "New Powers" earlier. Had it been retained, it would have shown the entire Five-Man Band as the Prism Rangers and only the second full "New Powers" morph following Dairanger (Squadron).
  • Compressed Adaptation: In perhaps Super Megaforce's most peculiar use of this trope, this episode adapts both episodes 27note  and 32note  of Gokaiger.
  • "Freaky Friday" Flip: Happens to Jake and Noah.
  • Lost Aesop: The episode involves Noah and Jake having a "Freaky Friday" Flip situation because of a monster. However, the plot changes scenarios at the drop of a hat to developing the Super Mega Cannon. To justify the switch in focus, note  Noah hints at wanting to build the weapon alone without the others by ignoring teamwork.....only it was in no way even remotely mentioned prior to that point; nor do the Rangers actually assist Noah in developing the weapon after the fact.
  • Monster of the Week: As a result of a adapting two episodes of Gokaiger at once, this episode has two. They are Tranceferer, who is responsible for the "Freaky Friday" Flip, and Turtlelini, who forces the team to develop the Super Mega Cannon.
