- Big Damn Heroes: Phineas saves Nick from Oculous.
- Blood Knight: Megahorn wants to destroy the enemy at all costs and not wait his turn. He is glad when Daggeron goes all out because it'll make winning even more fun.
- The Chosen One: "You are the Light, the key to destroying the Underworld. Quite a burden, I know, but if you surrender, then we are all lost."
- "Eureka!" Moment: After talking to Phineas, Nick asks what he should do. Phineas simply asks him what his heart is telling him, leading Nick to remember what Daggeron was telling him earlier about Fire Heart.
- Foreshadowing: Daggeron talking to Nick about his connection to Fire Heart.
- Honor Before Reason: Nick is willing to sacrifice himself in exchange for the other Rangers being freed. Phineas explains to him why that's actually a very bad idea.

Phineas: Good to see you, too. - Villainous Rescue: Itassis stops Megahorn from killing Daggeron.
