Slyther finds a memory-altering device and uses it to get the Rangers off Void Knight's back for the hunt for the Sporix.

- The Bad Guy Wins: Thanks to the memory-altering device, Void Knight's forces gather a huge collection of Sporix. While they are not enough to power his machine and revive Santaura, Void Knight is close to completing his goal.
- Cassandra Truth: Because of the memory-altering device, the Rangers do not believe Solon's reports about Sporix sightings.
- Continuity Nod: The Beacon Zayto found contains parts of the message that was shown in episode 3 of season 1.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: Tired of the Rangers' interference in his plans, Void Knight steps in and wipes the floor with them.
- In the Back: Just before the Rangers' can deliver the finishing blow to Occulo, Void Knight attacks them from behind, stopping their attack.
