Scrozzle reveals his latest invention to enable Evox to return from the Cyber Dimension, but Nate may have other ideas during his capture...
Episode Tropes:
- Big "NO!": Evox's reaction when he's pulled back into the Cyber Dimension after Nate damages the Cybergate.
- Call-Back:
- One from Beast Unleashed as Nate manages to stop the villains' plans (turning the initial trio into Avatars in the former, freeing Evox from the Cyber Dimension here) and it results in brand new Rangers. Although this time, he's a Ranger!
- Ravi reminds Nate of the buddy system his mother placed on him during Digital Deception.
- Cliffhanger: Sort of. The episode ends with Scrozzle repairing the Cybergate, and Blaze and Roxy vowing to capture Steel for Evox.
- Chekhov's Gun: Earlier in the episode, Nate is seen building a Striker Morpher for unknown reasons, and later uses it for his plan to stop the Cybergate. Bonus points for the Morpher actually being a gun.
- Curbstomp Battle: Vacuutron easily dispatches the three main Rangers by himself. He's then on the receiving end of this when Nate and Steel join the fight.
- Foreshadowing: Evox excited to enter this "new body" and how he couldn't (due to Nate's human DNA inside it) is gonna pay off big time in the series finale.
- Freeze-Frame Bonus: "The World of Science" magazine featuring Nate has the names of the episode's writers in bottom right hand corner of the cover.
- Irony: Scrozzle says that they would be watching history in the making, and in a sense, he was correct. Just not the way he wanted.
- I Surrender, Suckers: Nate pretends that Blaze and Roxy have successfully frightened him into building a robot for Evox. His "Please don't hurt me" performance is so convincing, the villains don't even bother tying him back up when he's done working. Unknown to them, he's secretly repaired his communicator, allowing him to summon a blaster from Grid Battleforce HQ.
- Screw This, I'm Out of Here!: Scrozzle teleports away after both Nate and the robot body morph into new Rangers.Scrozzle: This whole deal is going into the toilet!
- Shout-Out: The full name Steel comes up for himself starts with "Mr. Fantastic".
- Wham Episode: Nate manages to stop Evox from escaping the Cyber Dimension, and in the process, he and Steel become Power Rangers.
