The Beast Morpher Rangers join forces with the Legendary Dino Rangers (Mighty Morphin, Dino Thunder & Dino Charge) in an all-out battle against Evox's newest ally, Goldar Maximus.
Tropes:
- All Your Powers Combined: How the Rangers defeat Goldar Maximus, and later Evox's Chimerazord.
- Ambiguous Situation: Though not the focus of the episode, one can assume that the team joining Jason was the original MMPR team, with Zack and Trini.
- Arbitrary Skepticism: Devon is pretty skeptical when Keeper tells him about his vision off an all-out battle between multiple Ranger teams and getting struck by a meteor. It is slightly justified since his team deals with science based threats rather then more mystical ones that other teams have had to content with. By the end of the adventure Devon gains a new respect for the Morphin' Grid and tells Keeper he won't doubt its visions ever again.
- Attack of the 50-Foot Whatever: Evox's Chimerazord towers over all of the Rangers Megazords.
- Bring It: After the other Rangers emerge from portals to back up Jason and the Dino Charge crew.Jason: Now this? This is an army!
Goldar Maximus: It won't be when we're done, Jason! - Call-Back: When told of Goldar Maximus, Jason says he thought Zordon destroyed him years ago.
- Continuity Nod: Jason references Lord Zedd's personal Zord, Serpentera, and feels it was preferable to the monstrosity that Evox just unleashed.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: Once the various dinosaur teams assemble they tear through Evox's forces with relative ease. Evox's Chimerazord however requires a bit more effort to destroy.
- Cutting the Knot: Scrozzle says they need to find a way to open the geode. Goldar Maximus immediately takes a sword to it, slicing it in half.
- Defiant to the End: Goldar Maximus says he will never surrender to any Ranger. The assembled Rangers take him down with a massive blast.
- Fake Shemp: The MMPR team minus Jason and the Dino Thunder team (although they were able to give Conner a speaking part with the aid of a different voice actor).
- Flashback: When Scrozzle says he knows what he's doing, we get a brief clip of a mind-controlled Keeper explaining to Evox how to create a Zord.
- Gondor Calls for Aid: After the Grid Battleforce and Dino Charge Rangers are taken down by Goldar Maximus and Snide Devon, the only Ranger who wasn't there to go through the portal, takes the meteor he found and uses it so he can contact any Rangers through the Morphin Grid for help. This ends up summoning the original Red Ranger Jason Lee Scott who in turn summons the rest of the Mighty Morphin team and the Dino Thunder Rangers for one giant brawl against Evox's forces.
- Magic Meteor: Keeper foresees Devon being struck by a meteor on his way to a games competition, Devon is skeptical, but is indeed hit by one as he rides along the road with Cruise. The meteor is found to contain properties which are instrumental in helping Devon survive the overly intense energy waves of the Morph-X Towers, enabling him to tap into the Morphing Grid and send out a distress call to all Rangers within reach. The meteor is also found to contain the Tyrannosaurus Power Coin, which Devon hands over to Jason, enabling him to once again become the Red MMPR Ranger!
- Oh, Crap!: "Man, I thought Serpentera was bad, but that Zord has six heads!"
- Seers: Keeper tells Grid Battleforce of a disturbing vision he has had from the Morphing Grid foretelling a grim battle between a group of Power Rangers and the forces of evil, a battle the Rangers are losing. It is not yet clear to Keeper who these Rangers are, but it becomes all too apparent later when the Grid Battleforce Rangers, minus Devon, answer a call for help from the Dino Charge Rangers under attack in their own dimension from Goldar Maximus and Snide.
- Shut Up, Hannibal!: When Goldar Maximus boasts that he has an entire army at his disposal, Jason shows him what a real army is by summoning the rest of the Mighty Morphin team and the Dino Thunder Rangers to join the others.
- The Bus Came Back: After an eighteen-year absence from the franchise, the original Red Ranger Jason Lee Scott, answers the summons of Devon the Red Grid Battleforce Ranger to assist him and his team against Goldar Maximus. Also returning are the Dino Charge team. The Dino Thunder team and the other four original rangers also appear, none of which are played by their respective original actors.
- This Cannot Be!: Evox just before escaping the Chimera Zord.
- Underestimating Badassery: Evox openly scoffs at the Rangers' three Megazords being able to take on his Chimera Zord.
- We Meet Again: Jason and Goldar Maximus have a bit of this going on when talking on the battlefield.
- Wham Shot:
- When the meteor cracks apart, the Tyrannosaurus Power Coin floats into view.
- The Mighty Morphin team and three Dino Thunder Rangers emerging from portals.
- What Happened to the Mouse?: As you'd expect, there is no explanation as to why the Tyrannosaurus coin, which Jason still had at the end of Forever Red, ended up in a meteor. Actually, the status of the coin is a whole can of worms in of itself, given that Jason presumably also had it during Super Megaforce, as Rocky was Zeo Ranger III at the time, and yet the latter had the coin in Super Ninja Steel's Dimensions In Danger (as proven by behind-the-scenes). Additionally, there’s no onscreen explanation of how the Dino Megazord and Thundersaurus Megazord are able to return aside from the combined powers of both the Dino Charge and Beast Morphers teams.
- Writers Cannot Do Math: Uh, Jason. That thing actually has SEVEN heads.
- You Fool!: Evox in response to Devon ordering him to step away from the geode.
