Zoey makes a huge mistake which jeopardises the safety of a familiar ally. Now she and her team must join forces with more Rangers to get him back.

- Back from the Dead: A good chunk of Sledge's forces are brought back from the dead; Sledge, Fury, Poisandra, Wrench, Curio, and Snide.
- Big Damn Heroes: Just as the Dino Charge Rangers are being overwhelmed by Sledge and his crew the Beast Morpher Rangers return from their fight with the Gigadrone and blast them away allowing the teams to escape.
- Bittersweet Ending: The Rangers manage to get Keeper back from Evox's forces but at the cost of Ryjack's relics. In addition, Evox has gathered new allies in the form of Sledge's crew, and obtained some vital information from Keeper.
- The Bus Came Back: Vivixs, Triptoids, and Putties show up to kidnap Keeper. Accordingly, Brennan Meija, Davi Santos, James Davies, and Yoshi Sudarso return as well.
- But Now I Must Go: After being rescued, Keeper does not return with the Dino Charge Rangers to their dimension, since he had to go elsewhere.
- Crossover: The Dino Charge Rangers return to help the Beast Morpher Rangers.
- Fake Shemp: Subverted. Although Shelby nor Riley appear outside their costumes, Brennan Meija confirmed
on Twitter that they did reprise their roles but were unavailable to show up on set in New Zealand, hence they voiced their characters instead. - Foreshadowing: Evox formulates his plan after hearing about how the Rangers created a new Zord using the energems. Also, the use of Triptoids.
- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Zoey really wrecks stuff up good. First, her investigating the ship causes it to instantly blow up, then she puts a control collar on Keeper, so when he's abducted the bad guys can get him to do what they want.
- Villain Team-Up: The core villains of Power Rangers Dino Charge are reanimated by Evox to assist in his campaign against the Grid Battleforce Rangers.
- What the Hell, Hero?: Zoey gets called out for impulsively trying to board Ryjack's ship and for putting the control collar on Keeper allowing the villains to get their hands on him.
