As Evox's forces rewrites everyone's memories, Steel finds himself unaffected and the only one who can foil the villains' latest plot while Blaze and Roxy conspire to rid themselves of Vargoyle.
Episode Tropes:
- Artistic License – Physics: Realistically, Ben and Betty should have died near a volcano and in the void of space, but Power Rangers has never tried to be scientifically accurate.
- Bad Boss: Evox doesn't seem to care about (or even be aware of) Blaze and Roxy's role in Vargoyle's demise. In fact, Evox doesn't even bother mentioning Vargoyle at the end of the episode.
- Batman Can Breathe in Space: As usual in any Power Rangers media, Ben and Betty are somehow able to survive in space.
- Bittersweet Ending: Vargoyle is destroyed, the Rangers have their memories back, and Steel makes a full recovery after his shut down. However, the Avatars succeeded in collecting the Mega Transporters, allowing Evox to plan his endgame, and something is happening to the real Roxy's stasis pod.
- Call-Back:
- Devon freezing up at the sight of dogs ("Evox's Revenge") is brought up again.
- When Ben and Betty are teleporting around, they briefly appear near the Animarium from "Wild Force".
- Chekhov's Gun: The mega-transporters that were used in the first episode to send Blaze and Roxy to the cyber-dimension return, and play a big part in Evox's endgame.
- A Day in the Limelight: This episode focuses majorly on Steel.
- Disney Death: Steel risks his life by climbing up the electrified tower and deactivating the Memory Pulsator, only to turn off after getting caught in the explosion. Thankfully, Nate powers him back by the end.
- Hallway Fight: Devon and Vargoyle have their final battle in a hallway inside the TV studio.
- Kick the Dog: Vargoyle destroys Steel's pet potted plant "Spot" out of pure spite.
- Killed Off for Real: Vargoyle.
- Laser-Guided Amnesia: This is how the Memory Pulsator works. Vargoyle changes the memories of Coral Harbour's citizens into forgetting about Evox's attacks and changing Grid Battleforce's memories into believing Blaze and Roxy became Power Rangers with Ravi instead of Devon and Zoey.
- Phlebotinum-Proof Robot: Evox rewrites the memories of every human in the city so they think two of his minions have always been Power Rangers. The only one unaffected is Steel, who's half-robot.
- Spanner in the Works: Steel remains unaffected by the Memory Pulsator due to his half-robot DNA. And since he was with Devon at the time of the Pulsator's attack, he was able to ruin Vargoyle's plan.
