The Red Fury Mode begins corrupting Devon. Evox plots to turn Devon evil forever. Roxy collects the final Beast Power.
Episode Tropes:
- Bittersweet Ending: In both ways. While Burnertron is destroyed, he managed to record Devon's cheetah speed, giving the villains the final Beast Power for the upgrade. In addition, all the Fury Cells are gone, but while that means Devon has lost Red Fury Mode, he's not at risk of turning evil, and Evox has no other way of powering up Robotrons.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: Devon in Red Fury Mode easily defeats Roxy, Burnertron, and even a gorilla strength-powered Ravi.
- Double-Meaning Title: The phrase Seeing Red means becoming angered. This also refers to the Fury Cells slowly affecting Devon himself.
- Does This Remind You of Anything?: The Fury Cells give Devon a temporary boost in physical strength, but are addictive. They also make him impatient, reckless, and arrogant. Long term exposure to the Fury Cells will eventually turn their user permanently evil. Basically, it's a kid's show version of steroids.
- Drunk on the Dark Side: The power of the Fury Cells corrupt Devon to the point that he almost becomes irreversibly evil.
- Jurisdiction Friction: The cops aren't too thrilled when Devon butts in on their turf. They bluntly tell him to stick to fighting Robotrons and Gigadrones.
- My God, What Have I Done?: Devon comes to his senses after he realizes he just beat up Ravi.
- Pragmatic Villainy: Evox is more than happy to let Devon steal the Fury Cells as they slowly turn him evil.
- Screw This, I'm Out of Here!: When the Rangers try to convince Devon to stop using the Fury Cells, he storms off and says he'll defeat Evox without their help.
- What the Hell, Hero?: Commander Shaw and the other Rangers give Devon this, but due to the Fury Cells' evil influence, he blows them off.
- Xanatos Gambit: Even though they fail to turn Devon evil, Evox's forces succeed in obtaining the final Beast power.
