Laura Sharp was born to Fillmore and Atta Sharp, with Aahs Sharp sharing in the joy of receiving a monster newborn. Six years later, a six-years-old Laura Sharp dreams of becoming a Scarer like her famous father Fillmore Sharp, to the extent of pulling a "Mike Wazowski" move on the day of her field trip to Monsters Inc. After managing to successfully follow one of the Scarers, who is Frank Mc Kay, into the human world and return safely, Laura was both chided and praised by her father, her teacher Ms Lawrence and other Scarers, while she got her wish of watching a Scarer at work fulfilled at last.
