Part 10 A Pony's Galatea
We start with Twilight and Applejack going to where Spike is kept, Applejack's ability to see through lies and deceptions helps in leading them to his room. After some difficulty both waking a giant dragon and telling him that this isn't a trick by Discord, we have a touching reunion between Spike and Twilight. After telling Spike their plans to leave, Spike tells them he refuses to leave without Rarigreed, much to Applejack's anger. The disagreement comes to a sudden stop when a rock puppet of Sweetie Belle appears and asks them to follow her. Spike without a second thought, does so quickly causing the castle's self-preservation to start. They find Rarigreed in her room where we see how deep her delusion is, surrounded by puppets pretending that she is the star of the gala, not even recognizing her own sister. Applejack comes up with a plan to see if she can wake the deluded mare up, but Discord found out where Spike is and removed the spell he placed preventing Spike from wanting to horde. This causes pure chaos to erupt as Twilight tries to calm Spike down and somehow Tom the Bolder hatches into an actual stone pony, who wishes to protect Rarigreed. After calming Spike, subduing Tom and holding Rarigreed down long enough for Twilight to cast the memory spell, she arrives in the mind of Rarigreed and tells the mare that in her greed she has lost the most important thing in her life, Sweetie Belle. Rarity wakes up telling a dying Tom that she loves him and knows what she has both gained lost over the 1000 years. This awakens Rarity to the Element of Honesty as she simply says to the others lets go.
