- Stealth Insult: Sunset manages to compliment Flash's new look while simultaneously taking a shot at his old one, saying that his hair's a definite improvement. Flash recognizes the dis and glares at her with a pout.
- Terrible Trio: A trio of Geckolar bully the other Geckolar in the area, stealing all the Hyper Bands to make sure none of them will be able to become alphas when they evolve, with the leader aiming to be the only alpha Solamander.
- Took a Level in Badass: By the end of the chapter, Ray evolves into an Alpha Solamander.
