Krash and Chiko wander around the ship in search of Dokko's cabin so he would allow them to play games on his computer. Once they get there, Dokko announces he's on the verge of a great discovery in the study of genetics. He had studied GMO-induced vegetables to help Barry with his garden and has grown such carrot for him to see. However, they discover that the carrot is gone, and that the ship has a weird bear-shaped dent in it...
It turns out that Barry ate Dokko's experimental carrot and started increasing in size, being large enough to grab the ship in his one hand. The carrot itself was supposed to be specifically modified to grow faster, but instead it began enlarging Barry. The crew then has to somehow get to him to tell him to stop destroying everything. Krash and Chiko get on top of Barry and decide to crawl into his ear. However, Barry throws Chiko away, with him falling unconscious. Krash then decides to do the job himself and explains to Barry exactly what happened, while telling him to stand still so he won't step on Chiko. Once the rest get Chiko to safety, Barry soon shrinks to his normal size, still quite traumatized by the experience.
Tropes:
- Artistic License – Biology: A rather ironic example, given the show's scientific nature. In reality, GMO-induced products won't cause any unusual effects to consumer, and the genes would simply be digested along with the product.
- Attack of the 50-Foot Whatever: Barry becomes a giant after eating Dokko's genetically-modified carrot, and puts everyone in danger.
