Recap / Phineas And Ferb The Inator Method

Go To

Doofenshmirtz hosts his own motivational seminar for inventors. Meanwhile, Phineas and Ferb host a planetary race, and Candace tries to multitask during an MMORPG, which leads to disastrous results.

Tropes:

  • Batman Gambit: Doof's inator seminar was merely a ploy to get people to buy his merch.
  • The Bus Came Back: Jenny and Django return with speaking lines for the first time since the second and first seasons, respectively. Of course, by this point, Alec Brown, Django's original voice actor, had gone through puberty, so he is played here by Alex Garrett.
  • Continuity Nod: This wasn't the first time Candace was ironically the one who gets in trouble due to causing a mess of the house.
  • Fictional Video Game: Candace and Stacy play a Ducky Momo MMORPG.
  • Ironic Name: The race is called the Galaxy 5000, but it's a 50-lap race. Acknowledged by Phineas In-Universe as it was going to be the "Galaxy 50", but "5000" sounded better.
  • Irony: It's Candace who gets in trouble, not the boys, because her multitasking causes her to mess up her chores and nearly destroys the house.
  • Laser-Guided Karma: Candace gets her comeuppance for nearly destroying the house with her multitasking when Mom asks her to clean up everything.
  • Shout-Out: Perry enters his lair down the chimney, and does a little dance and comes out of the chimney holding a chimney brush like in Mary Poppins.
  • Uranus Is Showing: When Buford pronounces "Uranus" as "Ouranous", it leads to this exchange.
Baljeet: That is not how it is pronounced, Buford.
Buford: It is on this channel.
  • Throw the Dog a Bone: Baljeet wins the race after trailing behind Buford.
  • The Voiceless: Norm appears but has no lines.
