We then cut to Nicky at an AA meeting in max where she's just earned her three-year sober chip. Alex tells off Piper for not believing her old drug kingpin was trying to kill her. The "carer" squad confronts the Latinas for "gathering." Caputo suggests life skills classes for the inmates. During the meeting, someone tattles on the panty ring, much to Piper's chagrin. Tastee hatches a plan to sell a photo of Judy King to a tabloid. While on her cleaning rounds, Nicky discovers Sophia in SHU, and she's looking rough. Red is feeling rough, after not sleeping for weeks. Luschek has a heart to heart with Judy King, then tries to assuage his guilt by visiting Nicky. Brook and Poussey's relationship progresses.
