Recap / One Hundred And One Dalmatian Street S 1 E 14 The Woof Factor

Go To

When the Triple-D end up double booked, Dylan, Dolly, and Deepak have to fill in on one of their acting gigs.

This episode features examples of:

  • Ash Face: Dawkins has this as part of the aftermath of him trying to build an indoor rocket elevator.
  • Blank White Eyes: Destiny and Dallas do this when they realize they're double booked, in an imitation of the scream emoji.
  • Contemplate Our Navels: Parodied. When Dolly and Dylan try to find a third puppy to shoot the Triple-D's commercial with them, Deepak says he's already got plans to try to find his inner cat… and to stare at his belly button.
  • A Day in the Limelight: Not just for Triple-D, but also for Deepak, who Dylan and Dolly (literally) drag into acting as the third triplet for the acting gig.
  • Failed a Spot Check: Even though they work with the pups all the time, the human staff that prepares Triple D for shoots don't realize that they've been replaced by Dylan, Dolly and Deepak.
  • Failure Montage: We get one of Dylan, Dolly, and Deepak attempting to film the Triple-D's commercial.
  • Fashion Hurts: When the puppies are taken to makeup, they get dressed in painful bows and fake teeth.
  • Never Work with Children or Animals: In-universe example. The director of the ad the puppies have to film says this after they fail hard at filming said ad.
  • Tempting Fate:
    • Right after Dylan says acting is like heaven, the puppies get taken to make up to find out that beauty hurts.
    • Dolly mocks the boys by saying makeup "isn't that bad," which is followed by the makeup lady grabbing her mouth to look at her teeth.
  • Title Drop: When the Triple-D salvage the ad shoot at the end of the episode, Dylan says they got "the woof factor."
  • Urine Trouble: The pups' Failure Montage includes a spotlight shorting out when Deepak pees on it.
  • Visual Pun: When Dallas says the triplets being cute keeps the roof over the family's heads, we cut to the roof literally missing. Dawkins tried to make an indoor rocket elevator.
  • What He Said: Déjà Vu follows up with this when her sisters say they work hard and deserve to be pampered.
