The Ninja ward off the New Ninja. Wu does his best to prevent Aspheera from leaving before her staff can be returned and she can save Nya.
- Anything You Can Do, I Can Do Better: The result of Aspheera's series of contests, wherein she outdoes Wu at everything that she's practiced in prison.
- Bittersweet Ending: The Ninja are able to successfully save Nya by convincing Aspheera to keep her end of the bargain by draining Nya of her elemental power and restoring her humanity (which temporarily takes away her power), but since they still broke the law by breaking Aspheera out of prison, stealing her staff, and helping her escape, the Ninja are arrested. And the episode ends with a mysterious masked figure recruiting Aspheera into the Council of the Crystal King.
- Hypocrite: Aspheera, unsurprisingly, accuses the Ninja of betraying her when the New Ninja show up at the Monastery even though it wasn't the Ninja's intention. A mere minute before this she'd used her staff to attack the Ninja, and the first thing she does after escaping is join the Crystal King's council.
- I Gave My Word: The Ninja convince Aspheera to save Nya by promising to escort her out of the monastery through a secret exit when the New Ninja arrive. Once she does, Lloyd takes her to the secret exit as promised while the New Ninja are knocked out, much to Aspheera’s surprise.
- Metaphorgotten: The Teal Ninja declares that the Ninja have broken the law, and the New Ninja are there to "un-break" it. Upon questioning from Lloyd, he begins to ramble.Teal Ninja: You know, to fix it. Make sure you don't break it again. Wrap it in a bandage. Maybe. Whatever.
- Was It Really Worth It?: The New Ninja ask this of the Ninja as they arrest them for their crimes. After taking one moment to look at the restored Nya, Lloyd says it was without any hesitation.
