Lord Garmadon, now working with the Ninja to stop the Oni invasion, decides that he should travel into the fog in order to destroy the Realm Crystal, thereby banishing the Oni.
- Defends Against Their Own Kind: Garmadon, especially since his resurrection, has mostly rejected his Dragon Ancestry to identify more with his Oni side, but he still defends against the invading Oni due to not wanting Ninjago to fall into their hands.
- Uneven Hybrid: Garmadon initially refuses to allow Lloyd to join him due to his being half-human.
