Maddie decides that she wants to move forward and try a relationship with Chimney, that means it's time to end her marriage to her abusive husband for good. This results in devastating consequences for the both of them. Bobby meets his in-laws for the first time and clashes with Athena’s mother.

- Facial Horror: Sadie, in the beginning, did not expect her face to flop downwards when awakening from anesthesia.
- Faux Affably Evil: Now we have known that 'Jason' is Doug following the previous episode's Wham Shot. Any good behavior 'Jason' exhibited was all a ruse to get closer to Chimney.
- Threatening Shark: The second emergency in the episode involves a freeway rollover, resulting in a tiger shark escaping from an aquarium and biting down on a man's arm. Yeesh... At least they were able to get her to the beach and released her safely.
