With a hurricane tearing through DC, Gibbs and co must solve a disappearance at a murder mystery party while dealing with the damage the hurricane is causing. Meanwhile, the Navy Yard gets a new face from California.

- Abby gives everyone on Team Gibbs emergency kits for the Zombie-pocalypse, including beepers. Those beepers still work when every other method of communication goes down, allowing McGee to contact Bishop and Torres on the U.S.S. Ewing to tell them who the killer is.
- It's mentioned that Helen Wynn can access the dispersing office on the Ewing, which provides a motive for someone to kill her and steal her key to the safe.
