"..almost here...
Mike Tyler? It's Mike. Listen, do you still talk to Emani and Rita? Drive them after practice to come visit me...I guarantee you that it will be worth your fucking time, man. Quote me on that. How many people? Man, you bring as many people as you can fit in that shitty ass van and you make sure that most of them are girls and we'll take care of the rest.
[Mike, Narration]: This party was going to be epic and would change lives. It certainly meant the world to Mike.

??? C'mon, you little bastard! Get up!
Lucy DAVID!
??? Aw, how sweet. His bitch of a sister wants to play too. Louis, take care of her.
Lucy "No, please! Stop it! STOP HURTING HIM, PLEASE!

Mikael: Evergreen and Devil girl- no, Matten! There's been an incident at the pool; Mike and several others he invited have been transformed into fish beasts. I know I was harsh to you, earlier, Matten, but if you truly care at all about anyone here - please, you must help!"

Rebecca: WHAT ARE YOU DOING YOU IDIOTS?! DON’T TAKE THEM OUT OF THE WATER, THEY WON’T BE ABLE TO BREATHE!

Matten: So, what specifically is going on at the pool, and how is your own health? Say 'I'm fine' at the risk of vivisection...

Rebecca: Oh, for the love of.. HEY MORON, STOP TAKING THEM OUT OF THE WATER! THEY’RE GOING TO SUFFOCATE! IF YOU WANT TO BE USEFUL, GET ONE OF YOUR PORTAL THINGS GOING BETWEEN HERE AND THE OTHER POOL! AND WHATEVER YOU DO, DON’T TOUCH THE WATER!

Matten: Chicken-boy! Lucy pulled the alarm, the forbidden outdoor pool must have some security alarm, and I doubt you have the faintest idea who or what you're looking for. Here, now, there's very many happily frolicking fish folk, who will be wheezing and gurgling very soon while their lungs or gills liquefy and their eyes follow.

Jasmine (Power Control Teacher): Hi there! Class 1, right? I'm Jasmine. And cleaning up disasters like this is one of my jobs. Anyway, now that the Changlings are safe and sound, I'm gonna get to work. By the way, you know you're all in deep shit, right?

Mike Listen Jasmine, just because you say a few swear words doesn't make you a cool teacher or whatever, alright? You're talking about fucking up - how about putting up a pool with a goddamn demon horde of Atlantis or whatever that was in it outside your school?!?! And then you tell a bunch of teenagers not to go in it but you don't tell us why? What'd you think was going to happen?!? At least in my old school, they told us the reason not to put paper clips in the electrical sockets.

First Post: 10 March 2018

Short Synopsis: Mike and Liam try to bring the class (and then some) together in a big pool party. Oh, and they used the specifically forbidden outdoor pool to throw their party. What Could Possibly Go Wrong?
Tropesspiritually and mentally enslaved to a ruler of an Oceanic realm (and who is implied to be Dagon).]]
  • Drill Sergeant Nasty: Rebecca does not hold anything back when she's fixing a mess and getting Class 1 and the evacuees in line.
  • Fired Teacher: When the class's arguments for who was at fault for the incident partly win Saint over, well, one teacher is dismissed/scapegoated on the spot.
  • Forced Transformation: The big problem with the Outdoor Pool is that its a gateway to another dimension and one which transforms swimmers (and people who just get splashed) into 'Deep Ones'
  • Got Volunteered: Matten and Ever Green, initially far from the pool party, find Mikael running to them for help.
  • Lack of Empathy: As if it weren't clear already, Matten's empathy ain't there and she's rather selective with even pretending. She goes out of her way to check on Class One, and... makes keychains from a picture she took, posing with a newly transformed Deep One like it was a fresh catch.
  • My God, What Have I Done?: Mike's party did indeed change lives.
  • Sanity Slippage: Lucy shows increasingly obvious sings that she's more than just the shy girl in the corner.
  • Ship Tease: Lucy and Lin get more than a few moments. And this is where a reader may find the Maid Incident.
  • Worf Had the Flu: Ever Green sat out most of the incident, being drained (largely thanks to Matten). She still gets in trouble along with the class.
  • You Are in Command Now: Lucy and then Rebecca take field command at the Outdoor Pool when things go bad, and their classmates start making bad mistakes under the strain.
