- Catapult Nightmare: Sunny has one when she wakes up from a nightmare involving her friends falling into a dark void.
- The Ghost: Opaline appears in flashbacks and portraits of her are seen through her castle but she doesn't make an appearance in the present.
- Series Continuity Error: In the Make Your Mark episode "Roots of All Evil Pt. 2", Opaline's castle was destroyed by the Together Tree growing out of it. Here it's shown to be intact albeit in ruins and the tree is nowhere to be seen.
