The students of Class 1-A are up against the League of Villains. Will they survive long enough for help to arrive?
Tropes:
- Awesomeness by Analysis: Shigaraki is able to deduce that Aizawa's Quirk has a time limit and even calculate, what exactly that limit is, by observing him in the fight. Which also establishes him as Midoriya's Evil Counterpart.
- Big Damn Heroes: All Might shows up just as Midoriya, Tsuyu and Minoru are about to get killed.
- Curb-Stomp Battle:
- Aizawa may have held his own against a group of villains, but once the Nomu gets involved, he is completely decimated and pinned down.
- On the good guy's side the villain mooks severely underestimate class 1-A's powerhouses; While most of the students are just about holding their own Bakugo and Todoroki utterly thrash the villains sent against them.
- Defiant to the End: Even at the risk of getting killed by the Nomu, Aizawa uses his Quirk to disable Shigaraki's before he can kill Tsuyu. This buys Midoriya time to try and rescue her until All Might finally arrives.
- Good News, Bad News: The good news: Midoriya discovers that he didn't break from one of his punches when he tries to attack Shigaraki. The bad news: he hits the Nomu blocking him instead, which does nothing.
- Scenery Censor: After her uniform is damaged, Yaoyorozu's breasts are conveniently obscured, either by smoke or foreground objects.
- Sickening "Crunch!": Nomu does this to Aizawa/Eraser Head as he breaks both his arms.
- Tactical Withdrawal:
- The rest of Class 1-A help Tenya escape the USJ so he can bring back the faculty. This proves difficult due to Kurogiri's portal powers. Luckily, they succeed.
- After learning one of the students escape to get help, Shigaraki decides it's time to bail, but not before dealing some damage by attempting to kill some of the students.
- Thanks for the Mammary: Minoru gropes Tsuyu's breasts again in a hug, believing that the villains will leave them alone. He gets dunked by her as a result.
- Underestimating Badassery:
- Inverted. Todoroki initially suspected that the League of Villains were elite criminals that would overpower All Might, but quickly realizes that most of the villains were little more than petty thugs.
- However, the League of Villains also underestimated how powerful the students could be.
- Villain Respect: Shigaraki acknowledges Aizawa for remaining Defiant to the End, even as he's at the mercy of the Nomu.
