On the day before prom night at Outpost 3's high school, Doll hunts down and kills all the prom candidates. Uzi, meanwhile, feels guilt over having driven N away when she notices the missing posters of the murdered prom candidates. She takes the posters back to her room, only to discover that Khan has taken down her notes and placed them in a room with his late wife's "kooky stuff". To make matters worse for Uzi, her father has invited Lizzy, her classmate and bully, and her friend Doll to help her prepare for prom tonight.

At the Murder Drones' base, V has N retrieve some fancy clothing so that they can trick Uzi into letting them into bunker during prom night and slaughter everyone there. N refuses, fearing that Uzi is still scared of him and not wanting to satiate V's bloodlust. Having noticed that V seems to be hiding something from him regarding their past, which he cannot remember, he prods her about it only to be decapitated by her, claiming that it's better the less he knows. As he recovers, he dons the suit he found before going after V.

Uzi, Lizzy, and Doll arrive at Doll's house, where Uzi is forced inside the bathroom to change. While changing, she hears dripping coming from the bathtub. Inspecting it, Uzi finds the tub full of human blood and shattered mirrors. Doll enters the bathroom to see that Uzi has escaped through an air vent. While leaving the Outpost, Uzi comes across N and reconciles with him. At prom, Lizzy comes on stage to announce that they're going to crown the prom queen. V suddenly comes on stage and learns that she has been made prom queen due to all other candidates "disappearing", and decides to make a speech.

When N and Uzi arrive to crash the prom, Doll uses her Absolute Solver to immobilize V. Approaching V, Doll forces her to relive the memory of her killing Doll's parents. N stops Doll from killing V and Uzi attempts to convince her to work together and figure out what the humans are trying to do to the Worker Drones. Doll, however, rejects Uzi's offer and incapacitates N and V. Doll and Uzi fight, with Doll surprised that her Absolute Solver does not work on Uzi, while N and V repair themselves. The three are able to overwhelm Doll, but before Uzi can interrogate her, V shoots Doll in the back of the head. While frustrated at this, Uzi notices a key on Doll's bracelet.

The three enter Doll's house, where they discover that Doll had been eating other Drones and kept the corpses of her parents. As they investigate, Doll suddenly appears and fires the dislodged bullet in her head at them. Uzi's Absolute Solver power manifest as she stops the bullet mid-air. Witnessing this, Doll apologizes to Uzi for suffering the same fate as her, and vows to help Uzi once she finds what she's looking for. Before Uzi can ask what she means by this, Doll teleports away, much to her frustration.

Outside the bunker, Tessa, the girl from N’s dream that now works as a technician for JCJensen, arrives via a ship. Accompanied by a reconstructed J, Tessa tells her partner that they have maintenance work to do.

This episode contains examples of:

  • Becoming the Mask: V has been hanging out with Lizzy in a bid to kill some worker drones. By the time she's named prom queen, V seems to have felt a genuine friendship with her, even to the point where she claims that Lizzy was a "traitor" for having previously helped plot her death.
  • Big Damn Heroes: Uzi and N intended to do this to save the workers from V, only to be confused when they see that V doesn't appear to be doing anything wrong. Hilariously, they end up being this to V once they see that Doll is the bigger threat.
  • Break His Heart to Save Him: Strongly implied. There are hints that V knows way more about the history of N, J, and herself than she lets on, and when N tries to encourage her to tell him what she knows, she destroys his head knowing full well that he'll eventually recover and says that she's doing this because it's what she thinks is best for them... even if N hates her for it.
  • Conditioned to Accept Horror:
    • Lizzy, a close friend of Doll, is apparently so used to Doll's... thing that she's completely unfazed by all of the disturbing things about her home.
    • A WDF member is also seen casually sweeping away the debris of a recent killing, even as more oil continues to pour from the ceiling.
  • For the Evulz: The Prom Queen rival candidates were murdered by Doll as part of her plan to get revenge on V, and the victims in her house were apparently killed because Doll needed to consume their oil to survive — but during the prom itself, Doll murders several other classmates at the prom for no other reason than because she could and because she values most of their lives that little. She even kills one girl who's running away from both her and V.
  • Horror Hunger: Doll, as a result of the Absolute Solver, needs to drink Worker Drones' oil, and her house is littered with mutilated corpses. Uzi is starting to develop one as well, as she seemed tempted to drink the oil spilled around the house.
  • It's Personal: Doll has had an extremely heavy grudge against V ever since she witnessed her killing both of her parents. Doll makes this clear to V by using the Absolute Solver to force the memories of the murder from both points of view to resurface.
Doll (angrily in Russian): Anyway, you get it.
  • Meat Moss: Some appears to be growing in Doll's dwelling, leading to ever more questions as to what sort of unholy nightmare the Absolute Solver even is.
  • Mummies at the Dinner Table: Doll still has her parents' corpses in her house and props them up at the dinner table.
  • My God, What Have I Done?: N and V (of all people) have this reaction when Doll reminds Uzi that she's not the only Worker who lost family to the likes of them.
  • No-Sell:
    • Doll's shield is completely impervious to V's minigun bullets.
    • Uzi, being another Drone affected by the Absolute Solver, cannot be directly manipulated by other Drones using the Absolute Solver.
  • Pet the Dog: Before Doll slaughters Worker Drones to get to V, she tosses Lizzy out the window to spare her from the carnage. She also, upon seeing Uzi also has been infected with the Absolute Solver, immediately becomes sympathetic despite having tried to kill her mere seconds ago.
  • The Prom Plot: The main focus of this episode is the school prom and the chaos which inevitably ensues there.
  • Ship Tease: Uzi is repeatedly flustered whenever she and N interact during this episode.
  • Team Shot: The YouTube thumbnail shows the main three characters standing together in battle-ready stances.
  • Traumatic Superpower Awakening: It's suggested by the flashback Doll causes that her Absolute Solver powers began to surface when she watched her parents die to V.
  • Wham Shot:
    • When Doll teleports in and fires a bullet right at the trio after catching them off guard, what is it that saved them? A purple version of what Doll was using earlier, controlled by Uzi. This shocks everyone and even Doll stops attacking.
    • Tessa's arrival is this, as she's the first human to come to the planet that the drones inhabit, and given that she's accompanied by J, it's very clear that her line about "maintenance work" is nothing more than code for saying they're gonna destroy all of the drones.
  • The Worf Effect: Doll quickly establishes that a Worker Drone with the Absolute Solver is more dangerous than a Disassembly Drone, pinning down V and nearly killing her if it weren't for Uzi and N's interference. It's only downplayed thanks to Uzi's immunity to the Absolute Solver's effects, giving her just enough edge to get Doll defeated (even if only temporarily), and N and V would've likely been screwed otherwise.
  • You Know What They Say: Doll says this after finding out that Uzi escaped the bathroom.

Uzi vs. Doll

Uzi pulls out the knife Doll stabbed her with and advances on her with it, while Doll realizes to her consternation that her power won't work directly on Uzi.

How well does it match the trope?
