The heroes are captured by the Dragon of East, Mei's distant uncle. It's up to her to save her friends before Macaque catches up.

- Jerkass Has a Point: Ao Guang harshly blames Monkey King and MK for Lady Bone Demon being returned to the world and reaching her full power, takes the map and imprisons the team (except Mei, his x1000 great-grandniece) — however, he isn’t wrong to fear the threat that Lady Bone Demon and the Samadhi Fire poses, and that the group coming into his domain with the map has put his kingdom in danger.
- Thicker Than Water: Ao Guang tries to invoke this with Mei when he finds out she is a descendant of his brother Ao Ji, but is surprised to see her willing to stand up to him in order to help her friends. By the end of the episode, he ends up invoking this himself, holding off Macaque so his distant grandniece and the rest of the team can escape with the map.
- This Cannot Be!: Ao Guang has this word-for-word reaction when he has a vision of Mei, for whatever reason, having some connection to the Samadhi Fire.
