With the Monkey King under Lady Bone Demon's control and Mei imprisoned in her tower, Monkie Kid and other heroes formulate a plan to rescue their friends and save the world. With help from Macaque, new information from a depowered Mayor, and the Lady Bone Demon's power stretched thin, this is their last chance to stop Lady Bone Demon!

- Ain't Too Proud to Beg: The immortal emperor Lady Bone Demon worked for as “Ivory Lady” is furious when he realizes the she and his chief of war have been conspiring against him, but it reduced to begging and crying for his life when she reveals her true self and makes it clear that all along she had been the one using him, and that he has nothing that he can offer her to make her spare him.
- Dramatically Missing the Point: Long ago, Ivory Lady/Lady Bone Demon explained to a perplexed emperor that she has been trying to perfect the mortal world. She explains that her efforts to rid the world of pain and suffering prove more and more in vain over the centuries, due to mortals' petty struggles and fighting for personal gain, and decides on one suitable solution: annihilation. The emperor's desperate response is to make her chief advisor with all of the riches and privileges that come with it. She sighs in disappointment and has the war chief, who has just sworn his allegiance to her, execute the emperor for this trope.
- Logical Weakness: The heroes decide to exploit this from Lady Bone Demon for their plan to take her down — as Macaque informs them, she has spread her power too thin by trying to force the Samadhi Fire from Mei, empower her mech and keep Monkey King under her control all at the same time, the last of which is taking all her strength to do so.
- Heel–Face Turn: MK finally convinces Macaque to do some good for once in his life and amend for what he did while forced into serving Lady Bone Demon, agreeing to help the team stop her.
- Omnicidal Maniac: The Mayor (or rather, the spirit masquerading as him) reveals that this is Lady Bone Demon's endgame, which is why she wants the Samadhi Fire from Mei. By wiping out all mortals and celestials alike, and even beyond that, she hopes to restart the world with a "clean slate" and perfect it without pain and strife.
- Play-Along Prisoner: While the heroes have Macaque tied up, he eventually makes it clear that he could have escaped anytime.
- Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Porty Clone joins MK's friends to save Mei, but paces out when the battle starts getting a little too hot for comfort.
- Well-Intentioned Extremist: It turns out the Lady Bone Demon wanted to "perfect" the world of mortals and rid it of all pain and corruption. Unfortunately, the more she sees this as fruitless, the more interested she is in just eliminating them all so the the world can start fresh. Her earlier methods aren't much better when she was known as "Ivory Lady", and her defeat at the hands of the Great Sage and Monkey King sets her sights beyond the mortal realm.
- You Are Better Than You Think You Are: MK convinces Macaque to help them stop Lady Bone Demon by telling him that he knows Macaque has some goodness inside of him despite himself, getting to the part of him that does indeed want to amend for his role in Lady Bone Demon’s plan and fight back, like a true warrior.MK: Stop! You keeping playing at being this bad guy, acting like you’re just in it for you. But I know, deep, deep down, you’re not that guy. Help us.
