After the release of the Demon Bull King, MK accidentally grabs Monkey King's magical staff and goes on a journey to return it.
The Pilot Movie provides examples of:
- Action Prologue: The episode starts off with the final battle between the Monkey King and the Demon Bull King several years in the past, with Mr. Tang narrating the battle for MK in the present.
- Disney Death: After the group's first encounter with Princess Iron Fan, MK is sent flying into a lava geyser and is assumed to be dead by his friends who were forced to retreat. Turns out he's not only alive, but also ended up on Monkey King's island too.
- Humongous Mecha: MK summons one for climax of the battle with Demon Bull King, which is more than powerful enough to end the fight in a single attack with the below-mentioned Pillar of Light.
- It Only Works Once: During MK's battle with the Demon Bull King, he attempts to trap DBK under a sliced building exactly like Monkey King did to him with a mountain... Though the Demon Bull King is more than ready to ensure he isn't sealed away yet again, quickly overpowering MK.
- Lethal Joke Weapon: Downplayed, as the new armor that Red Son provides for the Demon Bull King isn't really a joke on its own, powering up DBK more the rarer the item he absorbs is, with Monkey King's staff outright turning him into a Kaiju later on. The special limited edition shoes that he and Red Son seek out however are more than enough to power him up to a point where he can start wreaking massive havoc across the city.
- Pillar of Light: Happens on an absolutely ludicrous scale on both sides of the planet during MK's last attack on Demon Bull King, with one side being as big as the entire planet and visible from the outskirts of the Milky Way.
- Pilot Movie: A 44 minute one to start off the series.
- Power Fist: Used by both Red Son and Princess Iron Fan in order to wield Monkey King's staff, the former using it to pull it out of the ground to free the Demon Bull King.
- Pretender Diss:Demon Bull King: You may have that old fool's staff, but you are not the Monkey King.
MK: You're right, I'm the Monkie Kid! - Screw This, I'm Outta Here: After MK defeats DBK, the villain teleports away with his family and army.
