Bambang goes back to Wonosari after hearing his father falls ill. Alan continues his watchman training and eventually gets accepted. To her own confusion, Melani starts thinking about Bambang a lot. After seeing recent tragedies, Mami Bibir decides to hold a religious recitation.
This episode provides examples of:
- Delayed Reaction: It takes several seconds before Bambang fully realize that Prima is telling him that his father went ill.
- Physical Fitness Punishment: Because Prima runs away from the training, Rike orders Alan to run for 3 laps, and increases it to 10 because Alan protested.
- Real Life Writes the Plot: Alan's speech when opening the recitation makes it clear that the episode and recitation theme is meant to be a prayer for then-recent tragedies in Indonesia, namely the Lombok and Sulawesi earthquake (the latter happened about two weeks before the episode aired).
- Say My Name:
- Bambang screams "FATHER!" after Prima tells him that his father went ill (and a little bit delay).
- At the last scene, Mami Bibir yells Pipin's name when Pipin took Alan becoming "hantu" (literally "ghost", but in context is abbreviation of "hansip terbadu") literally.
- Share the Male Pain: Played with. When Alan falls and his crotch hits a block of wood, the female Rike is the one who wince while the male Bambang immediately tries to help Alan.
- Ship Tease: This is the episode where Melani's feelings towards Bambang becomes unambiguous (thought not to her). Melani barely can contain her smile when Bambang's aunt says that Bambang made Melani his emergency contact, misses Bambang quickly, and the episode emphasizes how she can't stop thinking about Bambang.
- Stealth Insult: When Pipin exclaims that she has a brilliant idea, Wawan is doubtful since Pipin's train of thought is "beyond normal". Naturally, Pipin thinks he is complimenting her intelligence.
- Weaponized Stench: Alan tries to attack Wawan using his hand "laced" with his armpit odor. He hits and makes Mami Bibir faint instead.
