Go To

While watching outdoor cinema, Juna wins a free TV from the coffee that he bought from Prima. A projector malfunction stops the cinema early, so Bambang, Melani, Prima, Alan and Pipin barely get to sell anything. On the way home, Prima falls from his motorcycle, straining his leg. Prima starts wondering why he seem to have bad luck nowadays, which Juna suggests might be caused by Prima's "unlucky" name.

This episode provides examples of:

  • Bait-and-Switch Comment: Mami Bibir's words when giving a sandwich to Pipin.
    Pipin: For Pipin?
Mami Bibir: For your dad. Of course, it's for you!
    Pipin: Is this sincere, Mi?
Mami Bibir: No... No doubt about it.
  • Big "WHAT?!": Done as an extended joke. First, Bambang and Alan simultaneously exclaim "What?!" upon hearing something on their respective phone, which annoys each other. Then, they tell Prima the news.
Bambang: Dadang said he is visiting his hometown for about a week.
    Alan: WHAT?!
    [...]
Alan: Pipin's stomach is aching so she asks me to do her job, cleaning Mami's house.
    Bambang: WHAT?!
Alan: Not yet! So if you need anything, just ask Bambang. WHAT?!
  • Call-Back: Alan suggest asking Dadang to massage Prima's legs, since he is the one who massaged Bambang's in episode 26. Unfortunately, Dadang is not in Jakarta at the moment.
  • Foreshadowing: The whole name-changing suggestion doesn't actually amount to anything from Prima. Instead it foreshadows the reveal that Juna himself is trying to change his name.
  • Given Name Reveal: In the final scene, the TV courier reveals that Juna's real name is not Arjuna Renjana, but the much less impressive Junedi.
  • Imagine Spot: When substituting for Pipin as Mami Bibir's cleaning person, Alan imagines Pipin being there and making him a sandwich.
  • Not What It Looks Like: It's not explicitly stated, but Mami Bibir clearly thinks Alan has impregnated Pipin when they come to her house while Pipin is holding her stomach in pain (it has a cold).
  • [Popular Saying], But...: Alan tells Prima that the "Berakit-rakit ke hulu, berenang-renang ke tepian" saying doesn't mean "Bersakit-sakit dahulu, besenang-senang kemudian" (equivalent to "No pain, no gain") in their life, rather it means "Too much pain, no success in sight"note .
  • Shout-Out: Alan quotes "Mangosteen now have an extract" from the memetic Mastin commercial.
  • Toilet Humour: The episode plays farting for laughs several times, namely when Pipin farts to Mami Bibir's disgust and Prima farts right as he gather Bambang and Alan.

"My mother says that name is a prayer. So should I change my name to amen, so you will always say my name in every prayer."
