There's an upcoming Vice-Versa dance at Angel Grove High School. Every guy gets asked by a girl, except for Adam. Goldar has just the gal for him, and before long, a karate-master female named Sabrina catches the eye of the Black Ranger. What's the mysterious girl's true identity, and will it sting the Rangers?
Tropes
- Casting Gag: The actresses playing the girls after Bulk and Skull are clearly the same ones who played their mothers back in Season 1.
- Chuck Cunningham Syndrome: The last appearance of Scorpina, due to a combination of scheduling conflicts with the movie and deciding to not contact the American actress for further appearances.
- Comically Missing the Point: Bulk finds a note in his locker, the sender asking to meet as "I (the sender) have what you're looking for". Bulk gives the note to Skull, asking (rhetorically) "Do you know what this means?" Skull responds, "Yeah; someone knows the combination to your locker." Bulk is not impressed.
- To be fair, Skull did raise a good point that someone obtaining your locker combination without your knowledge is genuine cause for concern. It just wasn't the point that Bulk was trying to make.
- Also, Bulk and Skull thought the ones who sent the notes knows who the identities of the Power Rangers are. Then actually what the girls have that they "want" is their love.
- The Danza: Scorpina's human disguise Sabrina shares the same name as her actress Sabrina Lu. Sabrina (actress) has said that this was not intentional.
- Distaff Counterpart: Two horrendous-looking girls who are clearly this for Bulk and Skull want to ask Bulk and Skull out to the dance.
- Abhorrent Admirer: Bulk and Skull think being asked out by those two would be a terrible thing.
- Opposites Attract: The fat one is chasing after Skull and the punkish, skinny one is interested in Bulk.
- Even better, their actresses are the same ones who played their moms from "Return of an Old Friend".
- I Knew There Was Something About You: This is Aisha's reaction when Adam's date turns out to be Scorpina, as "Sabrina" was being a bitch towards Aisha beforehand.Aisha: I knew there was something I didn't like about you! I mean, besides your hair and your clothes.Scorpina: I'm crushed.
- Locker Mail: A seemingly ominous letter is left in Bulk's locker.
- Oh, Crap!: Tommy, Billy, and Kimberly's reaction upon seeing Scorpina.Rocky: Who's Scorpina?Tommy: Bad news, man. You're lucky you haven't had to deal with her yet.
- Before that, this was also their reaction when their teacher told them there's no new girl named Sabrina, since Aisha is still the new girl. Leading them to discover that Sabrina is really Scorpina.
- Promoted to Opening Titles: Steve Cardenas (credited as "Steven Cardenas"), Karen Ashley, and Johnny Yong Bosch (credited as "John Bosch") are officially added to the intro.
- Witch with a Capital "B": Aisha called Scorpina a witch after she and Adam have been captured.
- You Look Familiar: As mentioned before, the actresses playing the two girls after Bulk and Skull are the same ones that played their mothers in "Return of an Old Friend" and in a future cameo in "Alien Rangers of Aquitar".
