Zack helps out by teaching magic to some day camp kids which works a bit of magic on Angela. But, Rita makes some magic of her own and creates the Peckster to terrorize the city.

- Blow You Away: It's one of Peckster's abilities. He can even force back the Megazord once he grows giant.
- Character Development: Zack is shown scaring off Bulk and Skull with toy snakes, despite his fear of the real thing from "Island of Illusion". Maybe the experience helped him to conquer his fear?
- Continuity Nod: Zack contacts Zordon and surmises that it's yet "another bird-brained beast", referencing the Two-Headed Parrot from last time.
- Creator Cameo: Peckster's voice is supplied by the then-future-ADR Director Scott Page-Pagter.
- Feathered Fiend: Peckster is the second in a row after the Two-Headed Parrot from the last episode.
- Giggling Villain: Peckster spends most of his screentime cackling like Woody Woodpecker's institutionalized far-removed cousin.
- Irony: After defeating the Peckster, Zack ends up with Angela taking the kids to a cartoon festival, where they'll be showing Woody Woodpecker cartoons.
- Moment Killer: News of Peckster's attack on the city breaks just as Angela was about to ask Zack out. Or so it seems...
- Oh, Crap!: Bulk accidentally says Zack's name, which is the magic word for bringing Zack "back".
- Ship Tease: Angela's last appearance had her dumping a bucket of popcorn over Zack as a result of missing the movie they were watching. By this episode, she seems to have gotten over it if nothing else for the sake of the children she's chaperoning and is giving Zack another shot.
- Spit Take: Ernie almost choked on his drink when Zack says he doesn't like to brag while talking to Angela.
- Stealth Insult: Iyemmagu as in "I am a goon." Real smooth, Zack.
- Took a Level in Kindness: Angela again. She doesn't seem too bitter about her last outing with Zack and is even returning his advances this time.
- Would Rather Suffer: Angela would rather resuscitate a hippo than give Bulk a chance.
