- All for Nothing: This would probably happen to Drekk if he did succeed in delivering Santa Claus to his employers, as K and L showed them the error of their ways. However, Drekk could use a backup plan, forcing them to pay him anyway by demanding it as a form of ransom.
- Ambiguously Human: Santa isn’t an alien, but what he is exactly isn’t fully touched upon. K simply tells J that there are some things that are even beyond MIB’s understanding.
- Ambiguous Situation: It’s unknown if Drekk, as a mercenary who doesn’t ask questions, didn’t care that his employers were unaware that what they’re doing is wrong, or he manipulated them into hiring him.
- Bad Boss: Drekk calls his henchmen idiots for trying to shoot Santa Claus (granted, his anger is justified). When MIB arrests his henchmen later on, he thanks J for that, saying that there’s more bounty for him to walk away with.
- Bigfoot, Sasquatch, and Yeti: Drekk’s henchmen are aliens that resemble Abominable Snowmen.
- Easily Forgiven: Drekk’s employers are not charged with any sort of crime for hiring the latter to abduct Santa Claus. Justified, as they are mentally children compared to humans.
- Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: One of Drekk’s yeti-like henchmen does this twice.
- First, he sells some of the elf-made toys to Jeebs (probably behind Drekk’s back) for some quick cash. This gives MIB a lead to follow.
- Second, he takes J and the elf accompanying him prisoner while they’re unconscious, when he could’ve simply escaped. This gives them the chance to free Santa and reveal their location to MIB.
