Gauss escapes Neo WWW headquarters and asks his brother along with Lan and his friends to help him rescue Tesla.
- Avengers Assemble: Gauss enters #1 curry to ask Lan and Count Zap for help in storming the Darkloids' stronghold. They agree and Lan says they should recruit Charlie, Jasmine, and Fyre Fox. Miyabi offers to come along to receive the remainder of his payment. When they get there, they find Dingo coincidentally at the entrance having gotten lost during a curry delivery.
- The Bad Guy Wins: Dark Mega Man successfully leaves with everybody's crests, leaving only Yuriko and Baryl.
- Hostage for MacGuffin: Its revealed Dark Mega Man made a deal with Gauss to bring him Japan's crest holders in return for letting him and Tesla leave safely. Although Dark Mega Man later mocks Gauss for being naive and prepares to shoot them with his Mega Buster.
- Involuntary Group Split: Some lasers cause the group to split into three teams. Mayl, Jasmine, and Miyabi for Lark Man. Fyre Fox and Dingo for Cloud Man. Lan and Charlie for Cosmo Man.
- Killed Off for Real: Cloud Man and Lark Man are deleted.
- Pet the Dog: Tesla gives Charlie a genuine thanks for coming to her rescue and tells him to thank her father and uncle too before leaving.
- Save the Villain: The premise of the episode. Lan and co. succeed in rescuing Tesla, but she escapes by cross fusing and using a barrier chip to jump out of Charlie's arms landing in parts unknown.
