After using an abnormally powerful windbox chip, Mega Man, Roll, and Ice Man are blown to an island south of Japan. Yuriko and Needle Man are tasked with stealing the island's wind god statue.
- A God Am I: Needle Man accidentally merges with the Shiisa idol's power source making him near invincible.
- Adaptational Heroism: Lily's drunk side still manages to be a good guy, merely becoming aggressive in battling Needle Man, whereas game Lily getting drunk resulted in her trying to sabotage Lan before their tournament battle.
- Blow You Away: As his name would indicate, Wind Man has wind powers, from summoning tornados, summoning birds creatures, and using flying bombs. Mega Man also gains a wind racket attack when he obtains Wind Soul.
- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Higsby taking the wind chip from Shiisa Island's temple is what led to Lan and friends needing to travel there to reunite with their navis.
