- Dumbass Has a Point: Bubble Man's speech about Double Soul and friendship in general being the key to Mega Man's victories was spot on and trying the same thing himself was worth a shot.
- Evil Cannot Comprehend Good: At the beginning of the episode, Shade Man tells off Bubble Man that Darkloids cannot understand friendship.
- Pet the Dog: The episode ends with Shade Man genuinely asking if Bubble Man's attempt at emulating Double Soul worked. Bubble Man reports he couldn't succeed. Shade Man sincerely tells him they can find another way to defeat Mega Man.
