Martin is scratched by the Phantom Werewolf when he cleans the Center's cages. Soon afterwards, the Phantom Werewolf escapes and turns Torrington's students into werewolves.
General Tropes:
- Mundane Utility: Martin gets in trouble with M.O.M. when he uses the Center's database to find the personal info of the hottest girls in school.
- Our Werewolves Are Different: Unlike the previously seen werewolf of season 1, the Phantom Werewolf is more typical and can turn others into werewolves, with the added bonus it can turn invisible.
- Poor Communication Kills: Nobody bothered to tell Martin that the cage he was cleaning housed a creature that could turn invisible, which is how he got scratched and the werewolf escaped.
- Rapid Hair Growth: This happens to Martin when he accidentally drinks the wrong potion to cure his lycanthropy.
- Red Herring: At first Diana and Java, and even Martin himself, think that he's responsible for kidnapping several students, only for M.O.M. to inform them that the werewolf that scratched Martin has escaped.
- Sensory Overload: Martin finds himself overwhelmed by a lot of things due to his newfound werewolf transformation.
- What Did I Do Last Night?: Martin freaks out when he wakes up in this manner and finds himself having torn up his room and with several guys missing.
