Chapter 3: Commercial Shoot
The Triton Hotel is about to have a commercial shoot, while Blitz leads an escort mission.
Tropes that appear in this Chapter:
- Adaptational Early Appearance: Crimson is introduced far earlier, before Moxxie and Millie meet.
- Adaptation Relationship Overhaul: Loona didn't meet Verosika until long after she and Blitzo broke up. Here, she met Verosika as a child while she and Blitz were still together, and to this day Loona sees Verosika as the closest thing she had to a mother.
- Amicable Exes: Blitz and Verosika, while still ending their relationship on a bad note, aren't as aggressive towards each other as they were in canon. On top of that, Blitz won't let their history get in the way of Loona spending time with Verosika again if she wants to.
- Call-Back: Verosika recognizes Moxxie as the imp who was guarding that cougar she flirted with (Lilith) back in "Friends in Lower Places". Moxxie notes he was escorting Lilith and her kids through Hell when they ran into Verosika.
- Call-Forward: Blitz has a goal of starting his own business, a nod to I.M.P.
- The Cameo: Luz, Amity, Eda, Willow, and Gus are seen in pictures Shere Khan has in his file of Blitzo.

- Sila brings up Blitz going on a killing spree in the Boiling Isles.

- A Day in the Limelight: Moxxie shares the spotlight with Loona in the Triton Resort plot.
- Everyone Has Standards: Even though Verosika has bad blood with Blitz due to their breakup, she does feel bad for him upon learning he's working for Khan Industries now.
- Expy: Sonny McCaliber is an imp version of Kevin McCallister. And his present day self developed an alterego based on Jigsaw.
- The Ghost: Lilith is mentioned while Moxxie indirectly mentions Hunter, Boscha, Cross, and Lindsay while explaining why he was escorting them to Verosika.
