- Be Careful What You Wish For:
- In this episode, Milasha finally achieves her dream of working with her idol Aira. Unfortunately, Milasha gets more than what she bargains for and eventually goes into a brief Heroic BSoD.
- Ever since her hand injury during the Second Neuroi War, Aira has yearned for the Glory Days as an Ace Witch. It works a little too well for Aira once her training with Milasha and Maria causes the latter to suffer a Heroic RRoD.
- Call-Back:
- While Milasha and Mana go into their brief Heroic BSoD, Silvie wonders if she will be transferred to a different unit, as with her earlier transfer to the LNAF Band in "Eternal Spiritual Home".
- In "WONDERFUL WORLD — Nice to Meet You", Ellie and Aira were going to perform "Gentle Light". This time around, Aira finally sings the song with Ginny and Milasha, much to Ellie's frustration.
- Continuity Nod:
- Like Yoshika in Strike Witches and Hikari in Brave Witches, Milasha and Maria are put through a Training from Hell montage.
- Aira rescuing Maria mirrors a similar scene where Yoshika rescues Barkhorn in the first season of Strike Witches.
- As with Lynette, Ginny wears a Britannia Air Force uniform upon her enlistment.
- Flashback Echo: While singing "Gentle Light" towards the end of this episode, Aira has flashbacks to the time she and Ellie were on stage at the Albert Hall, as well as her childhood in Suomus.
- Heroic BSoD:
- All Aira can do is to lay on the couch in devastation after letting her frustrations in being unable to relive her Glory Days as an Ace Witch get the best of her during the training montage. She gets better by the second half of this episode.
- Milasha and Mana briefly burst into tears shortly after Aira takes an unconscious Maria to her room. This goes away seconds later when Ginny arrives at the Luminous Witches' base.
- Heroic RRoD: Maria passes out after her inability to sleep causes her striker unit to shut down during her training.
- My God, What Have I Done?: Aira realizes how hard she was on her fellow Witches once Maria's anemic condition gets the best of her during their flight exercises.
- Oh, Crap!: Milasha can watch in shock when Maria is about to fall out of the sky.
- Out of Focus: Ginny disappears for much of the episode's first half due to her enlistment in the Britannia Air Force. She returns shortly after Aira leaves to look after Maria.
- Stopped Dead in Their Tracks: Milasha, after calling out Aira for pushing her and Maria too hard, runs towards the hangar doors seconds before Aira admits her responsibility for what she'd done. This causes Milasha to stop dead in her tracks and briefly suffer a Heroic BSoD.
- Twisted-Knee Collapse: After Aira takes the unconscious Maria to her room, Milasha slumps onto her knees in despair.
- Was Too Hard on Her: At the end of the episode, Aira admits how hard she was on her fellow witches due to her frustration over her yearning for the Glory Days.
- What the Hell, Hero?: Milasha calls out Aira for pushing Maria too hard during their flight exercises even though the latter has been more than trying her best despite her anemic condition.
- Wintry Auroral Sky: In the Flashback Echo to her childhood in Suomus, a young Aira is awestruck by the aurora borealis as she walks home.
