- Well-Intentioned Extremist: Lachlan reveals he's the last of the Naga, and that his heads have been cut off (the heads in his hope chest) because the Naga's venom is all that can kill the Garuda, and that all the crap he's been putting Bo through is to test her ability to control herself, to show she's not her mother's daughter. Because, as a succubus, she's the only one who can fight the Garuda.
- Wham Episode: We finally meet the great evil that we've been warned about all season, and finally learn why the Ash has been such a Jerkass.
- Winged Humanoid: The Garuda briefly becomes this when in its rage, a pair of dragon-like wings wreathed in flames erupt from its back.
