Aside Glance: One from Eris when Laval doesn't explain the truth of why the Crocodiles attacked him.
Never My Fault: At first, Laval refuses to accept that his actions against the Crocodiles this episode was wrong, even while they're hunting him down as a result. Though after the Lion Legend Beast refuses to help him while the Crocodiles are hunting after him, near the end of the episode he realizes the consequences were his fault, though he doesn't tell anyone else about it until much later on when the true brunt of the consequences show up.
Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Invoked by Crooler and a manipulated Cragger, who manage to provoke Laval into keeping the Chi away from the Crocodiles and outright saying they're never going to get any Chi, which leads to the Crocodiles hunting Laval down and him throwing the Chi into a gorge, which in turn begins to cause Gaia's Vengeance incidents to start showing up.
Spanner in the Works: A good portion of the episode is dedicated to Gorzan and his friends trying to protect a flower that ended up growing in a road others commonly travel on. While this seems to just be a random side plot, later on when Cragger tries to call the Wolves to help him in hunting down Laval, the Wolves are stopped by Gorzan who takes them down when they threaten the flower.
